Teddy Roosevelt's Wife Edith
Edith Kermit Carow Roosevelt, Teddy Roosevelt's 2nd wife and First Lady of the United States, 1901 - 1909.
Edith and Teddy were childhood friends and began seeing each other after the death of his first wife. They had five children.
She campaigned against FDR (her husband's nephew) because she thought Eleanor wouldn't make a good First Lady!
