This photo was found in the home of Sallie Parton Austin. It could be of her family ( Eli Burgess and Agnes Parton) or of her husband's family ( Alvis Austin). Sallie's family came from Jackson County, North Carolina. There family ties into the Parton, Sutton, Messer, McMahan, and Gunter families. Maybe some of these family members are in the photo. Alvis Austin's family lived primarly in Jackson County, Alabama. If anyone has any info about this photo please contact me.

I do not know who is in this picture. The ages are hard to place in my family tree.

I am researching Ables, Bates, Boyd, Burgess, Lewis, Parton, Austin, Shomake, Webb, Derrick, Kennamer, Tipton, Sullenger, just to name a few. Most of my ancestors lived in Jackson and Madison Counties in Alabama. They traveled from North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Georgia.
