Vantassel Christmas in 1967
My sons Jan and Pieter with their Great Aunt Katie at Christmas in 1967. Jan, Janene, and their son Jonathan had moved to Walnut Creek, CA. Pieter left Reno by train to spend Christmas at his father's house in Walnut Creek. Christmas was family reunion time. Auntie made homemade chocolates and Maddie Marcell made dozens of types of treats. Van always wore a Chinese cap on Christmas morning and Pieter still has it in a hatbox.
Date & Place: in Walnut Creek, California USA
