Young couple
This is likely a Herndon or a Herndon relative from Russell or more likely Washington County, Va. The photographer, C.R. Campbell, Lebanon, Va., is written on the back of other similar photos in the collection. It was found in a small purple display book with an outside clasp, very similar to the one held by the lady, and contained a number of tintypes and other paper photos. One contained the name of the Abingdon, Va. photographer G.N. Wertz. One of the photos was actually a small postcard with the notice "Copyright 1911 by The Chicago Feddottypr Co. On the inside of the book cover was written "In God we trust. 10-1-6"
Date & Place: in Agingdon, Virginia USA
