Tracy Nickens My Mother tells me that Grandaddy was born somewhere in Oklahoma in the year 1913, Carl Austin Clowers, in the month of September. Since he was delivered at home, the family had difficulty in remembering his date of birth; the options, September 5 or 7. Mom says he settled on celebrating his B/D on the 7th. His mother, called Fern, lived in the Lampases, Tx area (also around Killeen). Fern was married to Lee Clowers who immigrated to the USA, when and from where is uncertain. Fern later married Audie Hughes and they ran the Williams Cafe in the Killeen area. My brother, Jack White, used to keep in contact with that side of my family, but he has since passed and I would like to reconnect with them. My mother is Ginger Clowers and I am Tracy nickens. Grandaddy passed away on Febuary 17, 1973 and is buried in the Killeen area, but I do not know where. I remember my great Aunt Daisy and Aunt Tean (spelling uncertain). If you know any history of any of the people I have mentioned, then please contact me at [contact link] and type in family tree in your subject line. Thank you!
