Updated Hippler Biographies

Henry was my great grandfather. I didn't know him well and his appearance scared me being a small child. He was very old when I met him.
My great Granny Hippler was a really nice lady. When my mom, aunt, cousin, and myself would come over to visit her, she always had these whoppers-type egg candies with the hard white shell on the outside. She always talked to me and my cousin when we came over. I liked her a lot.
I didn't know my great uncle Clyde well.
She was a nice lady, but liked to gossip too much unfortunately. Otherwise, she was a good woman.
He and Aunt Leota would always wave as they came and went from their house down the road leaving or coming back from somewhere.
I only met him a couple times as a small child but he had gray eyes instead of blue. They were so pretty.
Unfortunately, this firstborn child of Allen and Sybil Hippler only lived 1 hour after birth and passed away.
My uncle Gerald used to pick on us growing up and give a hard time, but it was all in good fun.
I was only 2 years old when my aunt died and all I get are little glimpses of her once in a while.
My uncle Danny was an avid fisherman, worked for a railroad company for many years, and fished in many tournaments on Toledo Bend Lake. He was married to my Aunt Kathy for 33 years when he passed away. Together, they had 2 daughters Danyelle and Heather. Danyelle gave them a granddaughter and a 3 month old grandson he adored at the time of his death, but he had to leave them behind. Danyelle gave them another granddaughter 8 years later.
My Aunt Kathy was the coolest aunt ever. We'd cruise around in her 85 Camaro with my cousin with the music blasting and do all kinds of stuff.
Heather was like one of the guys. She was fun to hang around with.
My 1st cousin is only 8 months older than myself and we were more like sisters than cousins growing up.
My Papaw was true to his word. He was a good, honorable WWII veteran, and Godly man. He lived a simple life after he came home from being stationed at Ft. Chaffee in Arkansas, marrying my Mamaw, working as much as he could operating a road grater for the ward until he retired, helped raise 4 children. Three of the 4 children blessed them with 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 1 great great granddaughter Chelley when he passed in 2008. I saw him one last time at my uncle's funeral before he passed in 2006. Our eyes met and he said with excitement in his eyes, "Janet!" His eyes lit up like a Christmas tree and I realized my Papaw had the bluest, most soul-piercing eyes I'd ever seen on a man. I learned from him how to treat all people of diversity, don't do it period. I always miss his laugh and sense of humor and wisdom.
My mother is an amazing woman and I feel so blessed that God gave me the best mother on earth.
My Mamaw was the sweetest woman on earth and everybody loved her. She truly had a heart of gold and was the glue that held our family together.
Sybil Hippler of Many, Sabine County, LA was born on April 22, 1921, and died at age 73 years old on May 2, 1994.
