He had siblings Morris Allen Hippler, Bobby Gerald Hippler, Barbara Allene (Hippler) Beaumont, and Rose Etta (Hippler) Bly. He married Lelia Katherine (Lyles) Hippler, and they were married until Danny's death on March 6, 2006 at Home in Blanchard, Caddo Parish County. He had children Katherine Danyelle (Hippler) and Heather Renee Hippler. Danny Hippler was buried circa March 8, 2006 at Blanchard Memorial Cemetery N Jodie St, in Blanchard, Caddo Parish County.

    My uncle Danny was an avid fisherman, worked for a railroad company for many years, and fished in many tournaments on Toledo Bend Lake. He was married to my Aunt Kathy for 33 years when he passed away. Together, they had 2 daughters Danyelle and Heather. Danyelle gave them a granddaughter and a 3 month old grandson he adored at the time of his death, but he had to leave them behind. Danyelle gave them another granddaughter 8 years later.
