This Is Stella M. Stephens. This picture could have been taken in the 1940s or 1950s. At this time she was married to Johnny T. Gross Sr. and lived in Arkansas. Her Fathers Name was James frank Stephens, Born in arkansas Feb. 1892. James died in 1971 Potter, Texas, Son of J. T. Stephens born in Tenn. and Martha Mitchell Born Alabama. Can any one give me more info. James Frank Stephens first wife is lillie may Hutsen married in Clarksville, Red River, Texas 1911. Lillie died around 1914, giving birth to Stella. He Married again in 1917 to Della May Craddock, Della`s death was in 1934, Wylie, Texas. Stella Had 6 half Brothers and 5 half sisters( brothers-L.D.--L.E.--Billy Joe--Edward--James Jr.--John T.--Sisters--Nople--Ople--Gladys--(Inez Stephens Married name Phillips) ( Betty Sue Stephens Married name West) And Lillie Mae had a son born 1912 died 1920. I have no name for him. Stella was also Married to Jim Andrew Isaack in 1931 and Divorced in 1938. This is what is missing we can not find her whereabouts from 1914 to 1931. She was said to have stayed with Kinfolks after Lillie died. She is not in any Census records, 1920 or 1930.
