Brenda's Photos

This photo was found in my great grandmother's photos. Her name was Pernecie A. (Young) Whisenhunt. This lady looks a little bit like my grandmother. So I know she is related in some way. I think she is an aunt or maybe her grandmother. I have a photo of my Pernecie's mother, so I know it is not her. Pernecie had an aunt named Lula McBay and another one named Addie Wood. Their maiden name was Craig.

Brenda Minor Hi Mary... Can you give us some background information on your grandmother & her folks? Where she and they were from? I know a lady her in Tucson that was named Stout and her folks were from SE Oklahoma. Was there anything at all written on the back of the photo? Brenda Minor

Brenda Minor Hi Adam. I've been trying to locate my gg grandmother's little brother--his name was George H. Arnold. He was born c1879, in Wise county, Texas. He was the s/o a Russel Arnold. Does this sound like the same family? Where were your folks from? Brenda

Brenda Minor Have you submitted this photo to the Choctaw's newspaper--the Bishinik? You should do so with a query. Someone reading their paper might recognize them. Brenda, a Choctaw

Brenda Minor Could the "L.Y." be "L.V." instead? If so, there was a Levi Vineyard ARNOLD in Texas. My ggg grandfather was Russel Arnold. He migrated from Panola county, MS to varous places in Texas--but settled in Wise county. One of his sons, a Wiley M. Arnold, served in the military out of Georgia. I'm not sure of what the tie to Georgia is, but I know one existed. I've copied your photo & data and am adding it to my files for future refernce. I believe there is problable a connection of some kind. Please feel free to contact me. brenda6209681 at yahoo.com.
