This was in an antique photo album that was given to me. It was taken by F. T. Castle 728 seventh St. NW Washington, DC. in the bottom left corner, it li-oks like Mildred, it is written in pencil and part of it is missing. If you know this child please contact me. Freida Wells [contact link].

This is a wallet size postcard photo of a man in his uniform. If you notice his hat is to his left. This was in an old antique photo album that was given to me many years ago. I want to post it here in hopes someone can identify him. This has no name photographer name or date. Most of the photos in the album were taken in NY and IL.
Civil War Soldier
This is wallet size postcard taken in 1864, There is no photographer name just a 2 cent stamp on the back. It has been postmarked Everitt , but no state so thinking either NY or IL as most of the photos I have where taken in these 2 states.

2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!
