Hello Patricia, My own maternal grandfather's name was George Thomas Main. He was born in 1892. I'm writing to you as I find it interesting that the names George and Thomas seem to have been common to the Mains. Grandpa's father was from Scotland and migrated to Canada before migrating on down to Colorado and then on into Southern California. It would be nice if he and the George Main in your picture were somehow related.
Hello Beverly. I'm not sure if we've communicated previously,if we have, "Hello again!" If not, then Greetings from California. What part of Arkansas were these Browns living? My father's people were in Pope County and some of these folks bear a resemblance to his family. In fact, the young man in the front row, on the right end strongly resembles my dad enough to be a cousin. Samuel Houston Brown and Clara Trimble Brown were his paternal grandparents. Who was your mother's father? Looking forward to hearing from you, Janet Brown Jamieson
