Jean Creamer My Campbell family came from Scotland to America in the early 1800's and first settled in Chesterfield, SC. They later moved to Madison County, Fl. and then to Pinellas County, Florida which was then Hillsbourgh County. Archibald & Keturah Rowell Campbell settled in Safety Harbor, Florida and are buried at Sylvan Abbey in Clearwater. Archibald came to America with his parents, John M. and Isabel Smith Campbell. The Campbell family was one of the first pioneers in the Pinellas County, Florida area. They grew oranges and grapefruit, owned land and built the first hotel in Largo, Florida. Many served in the Confederate mililtary. They were also involved in politics.
