Louisa Jane Cooke was born on January 4, 1853 in Edinburgh, City of Edinburgh County, Scotland United Kingdom. Family, friend, or fan, this family history biography is for you to remember Louisa Jane Cooke.
Harriett Louisa ROSE married John Henry COOKE on 27 Octrober 1849 in Holy Trinity, Surrey, England. They had 3 children, Henry Charles Albert COOKE born 1851 died 1852; Louisa Jane COOKE born 04 January 1853 Newington, Surrey and Charles Longhurst COOKE born 1866, St Kilda, Australia. Harriett and Charles returned to the UK before 1881. They appear on the 1881 census. Harriett died in 1881 and Charles emigrated to New Zealand.
Charles Longhurst COOKE was the youngest child of Harriett Louisa and John Henry COOKE. Charles was born in St Kilda, Australia. He returned to the UK and can be found with his mother in the 1881 census. The 1911 census shows Charles living at Waihopo, Bay of Islands, NZ, his occupation was given as gumdigger. The 1925 census shows him living and Mangonui, Bay of Islands, NZ, his occupation is given as cook.
