Posted on my facebook page: "Okay, please tell me I'm not the only one who remembers milk being delivered to the home. Photo of the Kesselring Dairy company in Akron Ohio in the 1920's."
In answer to your statement: I remember... here's an exerpt from the bio I leave on many websites...
"Born & Raised in Brooklyn when the streets were playgrounds (stickball, slap, skully, etc...), the mailman wore a hat, A&P smelled like fresh ground 8-O'clock Coffee... pickles were sold from a barrel... and you could still get milk delivered to your door step. I now Live Upstate NY - Owego recently voted Coolest Small Town in America - in a Little Valley - in the Southern Tier."
When I think of "the good old days"... i see in my head that old galvanized metal box on my "stoop" with the milk bottles in it.
