TSGT Julian Aurellado was General Douglas MacArthur's personal driver in the Philippines until the fall of Corredidor. When MacArthur left the Philippines, he asked TSGT Aurellado to come with him to Australia. TSGT Aurellado declined telling the General he would stay and fight because his family still lived in the Philippines. TSGT Aurellado later surrendered at the fall of the Philippines and was forced to partake in the infamous Bataan Death March. With God's blessings and protection, TSGT Aurellado survived the remainder of the war and was reunited with his family.

2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!
