2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!

The elder Leonard Jella (1896-1969) was the husband of a sister of my grandmother by the name of Lottie Cook Jella whom I remember well. Thus the younger Leonard L. Jella (1916-2002) (her son) was a cousin of my father Leslie W. Blevins. I am Les Blevins Jr. ([contact link]) if anyone wants to communicate who are members of the Jella family. I called Lottie 'Aunt Lottie' She presented me with an item that belonged to Leonard L. Jella that he used during World War II. It is a B-29 or B-17 flight jacket and if any of Leonard L. Jella's descendants would like to have it they can contact me.
