Mary Bedell Fanny was born in Sarnia, Canada July 21,1867 came to U.S. in 1883 Died Aug 19, 1936. Married Henry Vallance Nov 28, 1884. Settled in Riverdale, MI. they had 9 children. Lena died at infency. Harry drowned at age 14. Vera (my grandmother) was married to Arthur Kennedy. Vera died at age 24. Eugene died of complications of TB contacted in World War. Nellie lived until her death at 34. Lewis, Daisy, Roland, & Harold were still living when Fanny died. Fanny had a 2 sisters Ellen Rhodes of Alma & Emily Smith of Detroit. 2 borthers David Wiltshire of Onoway & George Wiltshire who resided at Lumberjack at the time of Fanny's death. At the time she passed she had 22 grandchildren & 9 great grandchildren. From what I gather she was a very giving person.

Mary Bedell Etta mae Waid married Alvin Miller from MI; but her dad was Abraham Waid from Crawford Co.,PA He was married twice. Etta was married to a Philllips then a Miller. She was the first woman to be put in prison during prohibition. Later found out the cops had planted the bottle on her.
