2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!

My grandfather's sister (Cecilia Johnson) was married to Jerry. Auntie Ce continued to manage the vineyard and their business "Consolidated Rock and Minerals" in Vacaville after Jerry's death. There were many stories of their travels around the world (mostly Asia ans South America) with particular interest in geological specimens. The big wine barrels still stand on end at the edge of the pool asdescribed by Carol. The 40 acres of wildflowers and oak with a little farm from chickens, pigs and cows made way for vines in 1961. Some of the old rock enclosures for the animals stil exisit from the 1940's.
