Joseph Harold Linesch was the child of Sabina Louise Eggers (1897-1967) and Joesph August Linesch (1896-1985). He was born on July 11, 1924 in Los Angeles, California and had a brother named Albert. He married Corinne "Connie" Skinner on January 26, 1952 and had children, Stephen, James, Catherine, Teresa, and Jane together. Joseph was a Landscape Architect for 45 years. His well known projects include the Beverly Hilton Hotel, The Los Angeles Sports Arena, THUMS Oil Islands in Long Beach, and his landscape designs for theme parks including The Magic Kingdom and EPCOT Center at Walt Disney World, The Universal Studio Tour in Florida, and Astroworld in Houston. He had a profound love of nature and beauty which was lively and and as said in the Joseph H Linesch: Obituary, a "sense of humor which filled those around him with delight". Joseph Harold Linesch passed away in Culver City, California on June 26, 1996.
