He also married Nadine Sekerdy and they later divorced. They had children George Sekerdy and Stephen Linwood Sekerdy. Alex Sekerdy died at age 76 years old on January 16, 2001, and was buried circa January 20, 2001 at Greenwood Memorial Gardens 12609 Patterson Ave, in Richmond, Goochland County.
