Alfred Gerner Jul 21, 1928 - Apr 14, 1995 Brielle, New Jersey

Alfred George Gerner was born on July 21st, 1928 in Orange, New Jersey to Edward Gerner (1903 - 1970) and Marjorie Margaret Luthy (1906 - 1981). Both of his parents were born in New Jersey. Alfred had one older brother, Edward Kenneth Gerner Sr. (1925 - 1994). A veteran, Alfred Gerner was a member of the United States Army from November of 1950 through February of 1951 and served in the Korean Conflict. Alfred married Dolores Deresh and they had two daughter, Gail and Lynn. He was also survived by two granchildren. He was a councilman in Spring Lake, New Jersey, from 1974 to 1980. Alfred Gerner died at the age of 66 in Manasquan, New Jersday at the Deborah Heart and Lung Center. He is buried in Atlantic View Cemetery in Manasquan, New Jersey. See Alfred Gerner: Obituary,
