Andrew was married 47 years until his death to Cerira Bonavita. He died of a cerebral bleed resulting from being on blood thinners and heart problems. Andrew had a history of cardiac disease and two open heart surgeries. Andrew held a career at Grumman Areospace for 36 years until retirement. He and his wife had one daughter, Celeste Bonavita Demarco; and two granddaughters, Celeste Charity Demarco, and Cynthia Rose Demarco, who survived him at this time. His mother was Rose Alercio and half brother Sal Esposito. Andrew has four nieces, Dara, Theresa and Janine Esposito that have married names. Andrew was a religious man and attended services. Above all, he loved his family. It could be said that is grandchildren were the apple of his eye.
