Anthony Norvell, birth name Antonio Trupo, was born to Demetro Trupo (1865 - 1927) and Giovanna "Jennie" (D'Agostino) Trupo (1873 - 1955). Anthony Norvell married Edna Alice Dodge (1889 - 1994). They divorced in 1955. Anthony then lived with companion James Ellis "Tommy" Thompson, who was a World War II veteran with sons. They remained companions for the rest of Anthony's life, taking care of Edna as she aged. Edna died four years after Anthony, at the age of 104. Anthony became interested in astrology in high school but his primary interest was acting. He found that he could make friends with well-known actors by doing their charts and that, he thought, was his entrée into acting. Unfortunately for his ambitions, acting became secondary to his success in astrology and he ended up with a well-known career in the craft, becoming one of the top practitioners in Hollywood.
