i thought of him recently and googled his name. i certainly wasn't expecting the result i came across. i knew chuck back around 1970 or 1971. he was a very nice guy. he seemed to be independent and self supporting. when i knew him, he was driving, doing drop offs and pick ups of film/photos for companies that offered film developing services as a part of their business or as their business. (drug stores, photomats, etc).i think the 24 hour photo developing was a new service to the general public when i knew chuck. regardless if one paid the extra amount for the faster service or waited a week or so for the standard less expensive service, there was plenty of film and photo to keep chuck busy. if i recall, he lived in parma then and had a pretty blond girlfriend who remained in the car as he dropped off the photos and picked up the film for processing at a store i frequented. if i recall he told me her name was laurie or sherry? they made a nice looking couple. although i was not close with chuck, he impressed me as someone who was mature, responsible and dependable. i am so sad to find out that his life ended so early. my heart go out to his family for their loss.
