Charles K. Charles was briefly a member of the Hell's Angles MC before it became notorious, but because of that membership, remained friendly with a number of high profile Angels during the more infamous days - including the Altamount (Oakland, CA) "Freakout" biker riot at the Speedway concert (1969). In 1967, he married Muriel Ades (Kaufmann) and they had one child, April King Lockner who was born in 1970 in Greenbrae General Hospital (San Rafael, California). They divorced around 1975. Charles drifted in and out of California and Nevada, remaining in the auto mechanic and driver trades until his death at age 77 in 2005.
