Cora Anna Munkirs was born on December 17, 1891 in Kearney, Clay, Missouri, the third child of 11 children of John Ware Munkirs (age 30) and Anna Cora Brown (age 22). She married Reuben Strode on September 16, 1908 in Kansas City, Wyandotte, Kansas, son of George McGraw STRODE and Maxine Ann STRODE. He was born 2 Jul 1887 in Excelsior Springs, Clay, Missouri, and died 4 Sep 1947 in Excelsior Springs, Clay, Missouri. He was buried 6 Sep 1947 in Munkirs Cemetery, when she was 16 and he was 21 and had 10 children, six daughters and four sons, with him. Cora Anna died of cancer of the uterus, which she suffered from for three years, on May 8, 1945 at 4:53 p.m., in Excelsior Springs, Clay, Missouri when she was 53 and was buried on 10 May 1945, in Munkirs Cemetery, Mosby, Clay, Missouri.
