David Henry Fribourg was born on October 13, 1916 in Albany, New York to parents Harry David Fribourg (1883-1967) and Verna E Wentworth (1891-1971). He had siblings Wentworth (1914-1972), William (1921-1922), Charles (born 1921), and Edith May Fribourg (1924-1999). He grew up in Rensselaer, New York, USA and Albany, New York, United States. David Fribourg enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Corps on July 14, 1936 and served until to July 13, 1939. He then enlisted again or was drafted back into the Army on August 1, 1939 and served again until September 15, 1945. David served one final round in the U.S. Air Force from March 29, 1952 until Sep 30, 1958. On June 25, 1950 David married Elle E Meves (1924-1998) in Islip, New York, USA. The couple moved to Springfield, Massachusetts, USA in 1951 and they had 4 children together.
