Denis CULLEN arrives in Hobson's Bay on ship 'Joshua' in February 1852, Irish, age 32 and marries Ann KINSELLA in 1864 ; children Patrick William born (and dies) 1865, Sebina Francesca born 1867 (dies 1916 at Coburg). Sibena marries Henry (Harry) HAMBRIDGE at St Bridgit's RC Church, Fitzroy 17 Nov 1886, the newspaper notice describing her as the only daughter of the late Annie CULLEN, Geelong. So Annie CULLEN nee KINSELLA dies between 1867 and 1886. A Denis CULLEN, likely to be this one, dies in 1904 age 72 at Ararat Lunatic Asylum and there are several newpaper reports and police notices for a Denis CULLEN usually drunk and disorderly and of 'bad character' in the Horsham area in the preceding years, and may be why he is not mentioned in the marriage notice.
