Dewey David D'Albert was a kind, warm, hard-working man that was generous with his time and talents. He was close to his family, and happily spent time with them. Though Dewey had no children of his own, he was 'Grandpa Dewey' to the two granddaughters of his wife, Connie. He taught them French swear words, built them a log playhouse with matching log doghouse, and a little log doll house. They both adored their Grandpa Dewey, and loved staying the night at the log cabin in Santa Cruz with him and their grandmother, Connie.
