Mac is a blessing as a memory. He played guitar, made beautiful dulcimers, and graduated with a degree in biology/genetics. He, also, built a two story round home on his ranch in Red Rock, Texas, with a tree in the center. The upstairs bedrooms looked down into the living area. The State of Texas tore it down because during the surveying of the land for electrical lines, they mistook the round building for a pond and, of course, rather than admit their mistake, they proceeded with bulldozing the area under the auspices of imminent domain. He was already living on his father, Glendor McAdams, Paraguay ranch. He married Victoria McAdams, adopted her two children, Daniel and Carola, and sired three more boys. That made six boys and one girl. I will always think of him playing dulcimer to the sound of whales sounding. His love of adventure and courage lives on in Darién Honoré Ligarde.
