Edgar moved to the United States with his wife Rebecca (later called Phylis) and child, Laura and mother Laura from England in 1923. They resided on North Main St in Hornell,NY. They had 3 more child that were born in Hornell, NY, Edgar, Phylis (died when she was 1 years old) and Frank. Edgar worked for the Elmhurst Dairy until he left his wife and children and mother to go to New York City, in 1937. He wrote to them a few times, sent them some money when he could, and told them that he was not coming back. In 1938 the letters and money stopped. His wife died in 1985, she had his death certificate with social security number, which was how I found that he died in Hopewell Junction, NY in 1975. He had a whole family that he didn't know and that didn't know him. Which left me very curious about this man.
