So it follows that the two of them sailed to the U.S. in 1908 to rent a home there in New Jersey and to have their first child, a son, Edgar, born 1910 and daughter Daisy, born 1915. This bit is confusing: The 1930 U.S. census has Edgar arriving in the U.S. in 1908 and Jessie in 1907.
