Edward Peter Armon was born on June 24, 1918 in Brockton, Massachusetts to parents Peter I Armon and Anna Donelis. At the age of 22, on October 16, 1940, Edward Armon registered for the draft in Mansfield, Bristol, Massachusetts, and was working at the Ap Tea Co. Then, on January 6, 1943, Edward enlisted in the military in Boston, Massachusetts. He was 24 years old at the time and joined the Branch Immaterial - Warrant Officers, USA, as a Private, Selectee (enlisted men). During his military service, Edward served as a Private in the United States Army. He completed his training and served for the remainder of World War II. He was honorably discharged from the military on January 11, 1946, after serving for three years. Edward was married to Annie S Jatkauskas (1916-1995) and they had a son together, Edward Armon Jr (1945-2016) and a daughter Christine A Armon. He worked as a meat cutter in the Food Commissay in Brockton, Plymouth, Massachusetts, USA.
