On December 3, 1927 he married Jesse "Beatrice" McVeigh (1912–1962) in Bell County, Texas, USA. Together the couple had children including Eugene Gordon Barrington (1928-2006), Retta Jo Barrington (1932-2014), and Louis Seborn Barrington (1935-1999). They later separated and he re married to Oma Lee Keller Barrington White (1898–1978). They had children Louie, Virginia, and A.T. White. He also married Nellie Lee Tarlton (1911–1997) on June 2, 1979 in McLennan County, Texas, USA.
