She was married to Frederick Edwin Becton on April 21, 1759 in New Bern, Craven County, and they were together until Frederick's death on December 13, 1775. She had children Sarah (Becton), Elizabeth Ann Becton, John Becton, Edmund Becton, Fruzan (Becton) Whitfield, and Frederick Edwin Becton Jr.. Fruzan Becton died at age 78 years old in 1799.
