They had three sons, including Francis George and William Robert Thomas Stayner. George's second marriage was to Lily Rose Gallagher (1902 - 1982) on June 28th, 1937 in Victoria, Australia. They had two daughters, one of whom was Ivy Margaret Stayner who died in 2000. George died at the age of 81 on July 28th, 1972 in Cheltenham, Victoria, Australia.
