Gerry was a hard working airline man with Pan Am for over 30 years and worked his way up to chief of maintenance in jumbo jets at Logan airport in Boston after tours in Laguardia and Albuquerque NM. He was married for over 20 years to Carol Morrissey and bought a house in a very nice suburb north of Boston for his wife Carol and his 3 beloved children Linda, Michael, and Susan. He had a passion for baseball and coached little league and often brought personal friends from the NY Meta to practices. He worked very very hard to move from his birth place in an inner city impoverished place in Ney York City to elevate his family's life to a nice upscale living in Boston. Eventually working too hard effected his health and conditions related to working so hard for so long claimed him.
