Homer Erwin Schrecengost of Kittanning, Armstrong County, PA was born on July 17, 1894 to Nathaniel I.Schrecengost and Mary Pauline "Polly" Schrecengost and George Cravenor Schrecengost. He had siblings Charles Ross Schrecengost, Grace Mabel (Schrecengost) Harter, Walter Labana Schrecengost, Nellie May Schrecengost, William Merch Schrecengost, Lizzie Bell Schrecengost, Frank Byers Schrecengost, Hannah Catharine (Schrecengost) Black, and Foust Miller Schrecengost. Homer was baptized circa 1894 at Christ Rupp Lutheran Church 228 Rupp Church Road, in Kittanning. He married Sarah Lemmon, and had children Janet (Schrecengost) Lasher and Child Schrecengost. Homer Schrecengost died at age 75 years old on December 27, 1969 at Vero Beach,Florida, and was buried in January 1970 at Lawn Haven Burial Estates 1290 Butler Road, in Worthington.
