Janet was born February 21, 1955 in Wahington DC to James Shelton Moore and Audrey Needham Moore (both originally from North Carolina) She attended Forestville Elementary Spaulding Jr High Forestville Md Graduated Class of 1973 from Suitland Sr High, Suitland Md She married Michael Marsh of Vienna, VA in 1974 at Forest Memorial United Methodist Church in Forestville, Md (divorced 1979) She married John Newhouse of Ft Washington VA in 1983 at Forest Memorial United Methodist Church in Forestville Md. She had a long career at the USGS mapping division in Reston VA After leaving USGS She worked as a bookkeeper for various businesses until becoming too disabled to work after multiple spine and neck surgeries In the 1970s She lived in Reston VA, then moved to Waldorf in 1978 then to Ft Washington Md in 2000 She moved back to Forestville MD to live with her parents Her father James passed away in 2004 Her mother Audrey passed away December 9, 2016 at Washington Hospital Center Janet passed away at home suddenly January 2, 2017, just 4 weeks after her mother. She was cremated before police could investigate her death. She leaves behind her Fiance' Ricky E Barrs of Forestville Md Sister Sheila McGovern Neice Lisa Butler Great Neice Amber Butler all of Waldorf MD. And many dear life long friends
