Jerome Albin Holter was born on March 10th, 1910 in Traill, North Dakota, to Fred Holter (1882 - 1956) and Jennie Marie Holman (1884 - 1947). His father was born in Iowa and his mother was born in Norway. He was survived by a sister, Jordis and was predeceased by a sister, Lucille, and a brother, Norine.
Jerome A. Holter married Esther Jeannette Rosholt (1906 - 2009) on November 25th, 1933 in Hatton, North Dakota. They had nine children: seven sons, Gordon, Phoenix, David, Paul "Rick", Neal, Carl, and Michael; and two daughters: Marilyn and Janice.
Jerome died at the age of 91 on February 16th, 2002 in North Dakota. He is buried in Saint Johns Cemetery in Traill County, North Dakota.

Jerome Holter of Saint Petersburg, Pinellas County, Florida was born on February 15, 1891, and died at age 76 years old in February 1967.
