Mrs. Judy Knabenshue, 22, of 2201 Kemble Ave., died at 1:15 p.m. Thursday in Memorial Hospital after an illness of five months. She was born Aug. 5, 1946, in South Bend. Surviving besides her husband, Kerry, are her mother, Mrs. Lorraine Dennison; two sisters, Miss Karen Dennison and Miss Fay Dennison, all of South Bend; and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Nelson of Ruskin, Fla., and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Plummer of Mishawaka. Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Matthew's Cathedral with Msgr. Joseph R. Crawley, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Forest G. Hay and Son Funeral Home, where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday. Mrs. Knabenshue was a 1964 graduate of Riley High School and had been employed as a dental assistant. The South Bend Area Genealogical Society Marriage Record Index shows an entry for Kerry Lee Knabenshue & Judy R. Dennison on 27 JUL 1968.
