Karen L Kromer of TX was born circa 1956. Family, friend, or fan, this family history biography is for you to remember Karen L. (May) Kromer.
Karen started her own company on Grand Island, NY in the late 1980s/early 1990s and called it Creative Errands. She was a courier and delivered throughout Western, NY and down to Albany at times. She loved antiques and her apartment on Grand Island was stuffed full of them. She sold almost everything she had so that she could move to Las Vegas and fulfill her dream of being a cow girl and ride horses! She supported her parents and moved with them to Las Vegas, where she helped her father buy a condo and had her mother live with her. She was with her parents until they passed away and it was a short time afterward that Karen experienced pain in her back. She had previously recovered from lung cancer and asked her doctor about the pain, but the doctor said she was fine. Shortly afterward she went in for tests and they found that the cancer had metastasized and eventually went in to her bones. I last saw Karen in late 2007 and she still appeared healthy at that time. She has a daughter and a son, but from what she told me, they did not communicate. I miss her very much. She was a smart, creative and beautiful person.
