Karl Larry Fulmer Feb 7, 1918 - Sep 2, 1990 Aiken, South Carolina, United States

Karl Larry/Louis Fulmer is the son of Arthur Zebedee Fulmer (1878-1930) and Lula E. Haltiwanger (1882-1971). He was born on February 7, 1918 and had nine siblings inlcuding George Willie, Acquilla Mildred, Annie May, James Claude, Myrtis C, Carl L, Lois, and Margaret Fulmer. He registered for the draft during World War II when he was 22 years old, on October 16, 1940, in Langley Township, Aiken, South Carolina. At that time, he resided in West Columbia, Aiken, South Carolina, and was employed by Clearwater Mfg. Co. Karl enlisted in the military on November 5, 1941, at Fort Jackson in Columbia, South Carolina. He held the rank of Private in the Branch Immaterial - Warrant Officers, USA, within the Selectees (enlisted men) component. He was married to Pearl Able (1926-2001) and they had a son, Wendell Eugene Fulmer (1951-2015).
