Knoble Moore was born in Texas to parents Jonathan Moore (1880-) and Mary Elizabeth Agers (1884-1964). He grew up in a large family with 12 siblings including Benjamin, Lester, Olin, Neven, and Bennie Moore.
He enlisted in the military on January 24, 1942, in Dallas, Texas into the Branch Immaterial - Warrant Officers, USA.
Knoble Moore was born on December 28, 1904 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to parents John Franklin Moore and Katherine Knoble Moore. He had older siblings Harry, James, Lillian, and Johnie Moore.
He married Gertrude Opal Roberts on July 11, 1925 in Fort Smith, Sebastian, Arkansas. The couple moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and had their son James Moore.
