Leona lived her life on the farm in Blaine County, OK. She was the 9th of 10 children born to L.A. and Mary Miller Parvin. Sadly, Leona was afflicted with Down's Syndrome and was never able to go to school because of that. She was a very sweet person and was very happy when she and her older sister were moved to a nursing home due to her sister's health. Sis loved visiting with the other residents and probably was the happiest She'd ever been for the last two or three years.
