Lydia Bertha (Hackbarth) Quandt was born on March 6th, 1901 in Hustisford, Wisconsin to Ludwig Hackbarth (1871 - 1926) and Ida Uecker (1880 - 1946). Her father was born in Pomerania, Germany and her mother was born in Wisconsin. She had siblings Herbert, Irene, Carl, Lewis, and Carl. Lydia Hackbarth married Walter Johann Quandt (1888 - 1978) on November 28th, 1920 in Dodge, Wisconsin and they had children Elfrieda, Elsmer, Edgar, and Robert. Lydia died on September 28th, 1989 in Milwaukee, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin at the age of 88. She is buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery Hartford, Washington County, Wisconsin.
