Naomi's parents were Pauline "Polly" Ruth Oliver, 1927-2010, and Charles Glen Judd, 1924 - 1984. She had one brother, Brian, who died of leukemia at 17. She married Michael Ciminella and divorced him. Naomi had 2 daughters, Wynonna (born 1964) and Ashley (born 1968) and she brought them up as a single parent. Naomi supported the family as a nurse and then, after many years, she and eldest daughter Wynonna, formed a duo singing. Ashley later became an actress. Naomi married Larry Strickland (a musician) on May 6 1989 and they were married until she died.
