Onie Samantha Alcorn, 83 of Stidham died Saturday, services 2p.m. Tuesday at Eufaula Church of Christ with Joe Morgan and Charlie Bailey officiating, Burial will be at Fame Cemetery under the direction of Blacks Funeral Home Eufaula Pallbearers are Bryan Alcorn , Mike Burns, Charles Mayberry, Jim Morgan,Jackie Blevins and Lester Jay. Mrs. Alcorn was born Aug. 15, 1907 in Missouri the daughter of Nick and Ellen Nutt Jay. She came to the Braggs area as a child. She was married to Joe Alcorn in 1932 in Tahlequah. They moved to Fame in 1937 where they lived until 1955. They had lived in Muskogee before moving to Tahlequah in 1956 where they resided until moving to Stidham in 1989. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Park Hill Church of Christ. Survivors include husband, Joe of the home. two daughters, Pearl Morgan of Park Hill and Bobbie Lynn of Stidham, three sons, Mirt Mason of Okla. City OK. Buster Alcorn of Pryor and Alfred Ray Alcorn of Liberty Mississippi, two sisters Velma Glass of Tahlequah and Cora Baker of Wagoner, 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents,two sons, four brothers and one sister. Even thou some people knows her as her maiden name being Mason She was Onie Samantha Jay Mason Alcorn She is my great aunt

Onie Alcorn of Gibsonville, Guilford County, North Carolina was born on August 7, 1902, and died at age 73 years old in January 1976.
