Ronnie was a good man not perfect had his own share of problems,, but who doesnt right,..was a surfer hippy type of guy with a black man kind of twist ,,,thoe most blacks he didnt much care for or mexicans he had the style and look of one with the hippy surfer thing going ..it wasnt blacks or mexicans to say he loved the music r&b soul and styles of clothes, that was his style black and he had best friends black and mexican and others ..it was not race it was the type he hated the street blacks and mexicans that dealed drugs and in to crime and there living habits we are the same that way and i was a street person too in my life i cant stand that type either, he was once a street person and was no stranger to the street or there type of crowd and he wanted nothing to do with them could not stand them ..the black friends he had they had jobs and were good people might do weed some drinking but thats it they were not in trouble with the law were not in gangs ..they were hard workers some were truckers like him...infact he hated thes street blacks so much that i remember the time he took the family out to the lake for a picnic pulled in saw thes type of blacks and said oh hell no we are not going any were near them we will go some were else the hell with that i dont want my wife and kids any were near that ...boy would he be surprise my mom dated that type of black later and a white one a thief both low lifes he wouldnt touch her with a 10 foot......im like him i love black music i have 100s of r&b soul music albums like the style some of my best freinds are black but a better class of people......Ronnie unlike any other did care for us and was not out for number one but he had been drinking so long that he couldnt stop the habit he would get bye for awhile but started back he even tried to hide it and stay with the family but couldnt in the end, i think about him alot and regret not saying thank you more often to him i was very hyper and no angle was a good kid but got in to things just very hyper and hard to deal with because of it..he was the only one that cared what happened to me and just tried to make a better life for me and the family and mom...the fact she could love a a** hole like rod more them him ill never know
