Organized Crime Figure. Known familiarly as "Frank," he was like his younger brother a member of the Torrio-Capone organization. On April 2, 1924, election day in Cicero, Illinois, he was killed by police officers Phillip J. McGlynn and Lyle Grogan near a polling place where he had been intimidating voters opposed to the ticket backed by the Torrio-Capone mob.
